I am just about finished restoring my Capital but I needed to make my own cork float for the Holley and was wondering what to seal it with so it can withstand the gasoline? Someone suggested a product called POR15. Any help is greatly appreciated. Scott |

Scott, You might be able to dip it in that same stuff that people re-line gas tanks with. I think it is called KREME or something like that...in the U.S. It's a 2 part white goop that you mix up and is very fluid. You could "paint" it on with a small brush I would imagine, too. I would suggest that 100% coverage would be best, no "holidays". Regards, Archibald Northfield, Minnesota |

Scott- Dave Reed at Otto Gas Engine Works has modern polymer floats for the Holley. Do you have an ID/OD for it?. |
