My '58 Lyman has a Graymarine M620, the enginee is solid and runs fine, I'd now like to make it look good. It is currently red and I'd like to restore it to the factory specified blue/gray color. I have a number of Lyman and Graymarine brochures from the era that mention the color but none have a color picture. Is there any engine paint available that matches or is close to the original color? |

The Kragen auto parts store near me has a high temp engine paint in a color called detroit diesel that looks very similar. I imagine they carry this at all the stores, or you could check another auto parts place for engine paint. |
