I have an auto-lite distributor on a Lugger Sea-Scout 91. I cannot make out all of the info, but I can read the numbers 116, auto-lite, and what looks like a g6. Anyone know where to look for replacements for this? While setting the gap, we noticed that the mount for the rotor wobbles a bit. I have to think that the wobble is bad for the gap setting and am thinking that I need to replace the whole thing. Any advice is appreciated. |

Paul, Van Ness Engineering in New Jersey sell a replacement electronic distributor. It's a bit pricey ,but you never have to replace the points or condensor. It is nearly impervious to moisture and the cap rotor and plug last a whole lot longer. I' ve had mine now for 5 yrs. and haven't done a thing to it. If she doesn,t want to start it's got to be the fuel system. Doug |
