My temp gauge never moves from zero. I plan to replace what is necessary to get it functional, but any advise is appreciated. I have reasonable water flow through the engine but am paranoid about overheating. I am curious what temperature I should expect to see...previous owner doesn't remember. Also, I understand that this engine dies after 15-20 min of full load running. It will apparently re-start without complaint, but it will continue to quit. Any thoughts? |

my 162 four cylinder never had a thermostat, the temp gauge only lifted off zero when it was about to skyrocket! CP |
