Hi
I tried to post this question a few days a go but it seems to have disappeared into the ether. But you can probably point me somewhere.

Looking for a source for two Dole thermostats for my Graymarine Fireball 195. Seeking the 160 degree optional 'stats, as the street seems to think this is a better temp than the factory 140s.

Thanks

Update
I ordered from ishopmaine.com using a Sierra number provided by Boatwerks; they switched me to Bambardier/evinrude/johnson # BMC-0383307, which fits perfectly - after trimming 1/32 from the OD.

Gene,

Thank for the update.

OMC number 0383307 cross references to Sierra part 18-3554.

If the engine is salt water cooled don't use 160 thermostats as salt will percipitate out of the water and totally destroy your water passages. If you have a heat exchanger system with fresh water cooling 160 works fine on the engine side. Just wanted to warn you that the street is not always too reliable in these simple matters.
