I have a bypass thermostat assembly that I am installing on an early Gray Phantom 6 which did not come with one. The unit is a Vernatherm D551 and it does not function. I haven't been able to get a response from Vernatherm for a rebuild kit, replacement or substitute. Has anyone developed a work-around for this? Are there any in-line by-pass thermostat assemblies that might work? We will be occasionally using this boat in sea water so need a 140 degree thermostat. |
