I volunteer for the National Park Service. I was diving and found a submerged vessel with a Gray Marine Motor amidships; as you can tell, it is rusted and silted over. Any information on this would be helpful to the park/public, be is horsepower, speed capabilities, cylinder number, etc. The vessel is about 26 feet long.  |

There is often a model data plate affixed to the top of the transmission case stating the model/ horsepower and serial number of this 4 cyl Graymarine engine. I'd guesstimate to be mid 1950's. |

Or, serial number is on the plate affixed to the exhaust manifold that says Graymarine. With the serial number much can be told, model, year, etc. |
