I have an opportunity to purchase a 258 motor from a rebuilder that states he bought a lot of parts from Gray Marine prior to the going out of business. I want to use this motor in my 1979 Jeep CJ 7 replacing the worn out 258 in it. The only markings on the block that I see are the following.....167 82 and 2030422. Would this motor fit my needs? Thanks Eric |
