I have two Gray Marine Express Four-162 motors and I can't seem to find any information about them on the internet. So I would much appreciate it if someone could give any information on the two motors I have. Thank you. |

FWIW, a 67 Fel-Pro gasket catalog I just picked up shows "Gray Marine Four-162" as the Cont F162.
The F162 is the Ag/Ind'l version (F4162 being truck version and PF162 the power unit version)
To complicate matters, also shown is "Gray Marine 4-162" which shows both the Cont F4124 and F4162!!
Assuming no Cont tag (look carefully) take all the casting numbers you can find and check with:
garradmoon@montes@flash.net (Jerry at Montes Eqpmt, Chicago) or parossmachinery.com (Dallas), both dealers in old Cont parts and helpful with ID's. Good luck. |
