Hi everyone,
My uncle is having overheating problems with the aforementioned engine (I don't know the boat model) and I wanted to help him out since I used to work as a car mechanic. First we need to make sure the tuning is correct.
The engine misfires under acceleration/load so I am trying to make sure the ignition/carbs are set properly before attacking the cooling system. I need the timing spec at idle and at full advance, but haven't been able to find this online. The carbs I can set pretty close to spec myself, but I really want to verify that the distributor is working properly.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
