I am working on a 1964 lyman 28' with twin 327's but one engine is not original one is bluish, the other is kind of orange, what color are they supposed to be? |

From what I remember the Graymarine 327s from that vintage were close to IHC tractor red. Key word being remember. Hope this helps Ernie |

What i see in my trucks is if its a 327 from chevy its red, if its a 327 from gmc its light blue. When my father ordered a short block from the chevy dealer we ended up with both on the same engine. |

These Grays were most likely 327 Rambler engines. Shawn do yours look like this one? There were several different styles of manifolds and carbs
