I would like to upgrade the power (B engine) on my 1941 16' Cris Craft Special Runabout (double cockpit forward). I thought we could do it with a K engine transplant. But my restorer now thinks the 6 cyl is too long for the boat. He has recommended a Gray Marine Phantom 4 which he says puts out 81 HP. Any suggestions or warnings would be greatly appreciated. |
