I don't see a 32 under grey. 32a was an old chrysler flathead number. |

The plate on the transmission is a "Gray" shield type. I can get more info off the block in a day or so as well as a photo. I found a reference to a Gray Model 32 Phantom in the carberatorshop carb x-reference table |

Gray model 32 phantom was the factory specified engine in the first series Penn Yan Imperial inboard runabouts from the early nineteen thirties. The Fingerlakes boating museum is restoring an early Imperial(V-drive configuration) and would like very much to learn more about this engine Jim T. See www.FLBM.org for details on this restoration effort. |

the Gray Model 32A is a small four cylinder engine with transmission. i don't have any of the V-drive parts. It is about the size of a Kermath Sea Cub or Buchanan Midget. Before winter I will get a few pictures of it to post. |
