Gentlemen, I may have inquired here before about my trailer hand rotation YT1 but I cant find a thread related to this. Anyway, located this Palmer in Washington County Maine sitting in a field seized. With minimal effort it freed up and I had her running in a day or so if getting her home. It even had a functional reverse gear. It took some coaxing to get the gear to work but I was patient. Its the only one Ive ever seen with the carb on the right side and the carb has what I think is an anti backfire valve. Its the right hand rotation that is puzzling about this engine. When I figure out how, Ill post a short video of it running. It has a large data plate with Rapp-Hutchins Co on the cyl. |
