Our Palmer is still running like a champ but as most would like to get to a diesel motor if possible. I have found a parts boat with a good running Westerbeke 20B. Here is the spec sheet on it http://www.westerbeke.com/brochures/DSLENG%2C%2020B%20Two.pdf I read here on a old post that a yanmar 2gm would be a good replacement for the palmer since the diesel runs at a higher rpm. The boat is a Columbia 34. And we just installed a new stainless steel fuel tank, and have extra fittings in the top if we need to add a return line. |
