My M-60 just started doing somthing new. It starts up but if I give it any gas it stalls out. It chugs along at a low idle for about 10 minutes and then the idle speed picks up and it runs strong. As long as it is warm it will start right up and run fine. The gas is old but I keep preservative in it. I dont know if this is a coincidence but if I pull the #3 plug wire off while it is warming and arc the spark it seems to help. Thanks Bill |

Have you pulled the plugs and looked at them? My experience is that the aft plugs (3 & 4) foul more than the front ones as the engine ages, probably because the oil level is higher relative to the cylinders. |
