August 20th and 21st was the 20th annual Mystic Seaport Antique Marine Engine Expo. The weather was great the exhibitors and exhibits were many and the staff at the Seaport was as usual doing thier best to make the exhibitors display setup and teardown as easy as possible. Thanks Scott and crew. I won't try to list anyone individually because I am sure I would leave someone out. The friends that have been made by all of us during these many shows are also impossible to list as the list would go on for pages. This year the engines of Palmer Brothers from Mianus and Cos Cob, CT were featured. There were 35 on display. I will go through the pics I have and attempt to list how many of what models were on display. For starters they went from the large end with a ZR4 then a PNR 1 to the small end with 1 YT 2 and 12 YT1s. Another line that was well represented was the Q series with Several Q1s several Q2s and a lone Q3. As usual there were also many other manufacturers represented. Pics are on the also in the following threads click here click here |

PIcs in no particular order. I didn't walk around much since I needed to stay with my running engine.

The video's are a relatively new technology that brings the old technology to us better than ever ! Scott, although I didn't get to attend this years show I would like to also THANK you for all of your enthusiasm, energy, and endless capabilities in having this wonderful event each year ! The Mystic Seaport and all of us Old Marine Engine enthusiasts are very fortunate to have you on board. * |

Great job Scott and thank you Ernie for all the photos. Probably the most Palmer engines together at one time in history. Now its time for a Lathrop event. |
