Hello all, We had problems with the classifieds on MarineEngine.com and it was not working from Oct 21 to today, Nov 9. It is back up again, but recent postings and registrations to the classifieds have been lost. I have some more info about it here. If you had an ad posted you will probably need to post it again. There have not been any problems with the OldMarineEngine site or discussion board, and I do have full backups of the OldMarineEngine site. The MarineEngine.com classifieds is on a separate server at a separate location from the OldMarineEngine.com site. |

Glade things are working again Andrew, but there were some interesting items that came up in the classifieds before today. I thought maybe you were expanding your base when the used cars and Men seeking Women adds came up. Bill |

Bill, Yeah, I thought we might get a bigger group interested if I expanded the classifieds categories... I thought your suggestion of "man seeking woman with Palmer engine parts" was a good idea... . Just kidding, we were doing a new install of the program and those were the default categories. Roger, I think what you will find is that those are old ads that you posted in 2004. With the hard drive failure we lost the new ads. You should repost your ads because I will be gradually get rid of the 2004 ads. I left them up for now just so that the classifieds wouldn't appear empty. |

Roger, You need to go to the profile link above and upload a picture to your profile. The maximum size is 150 pixels x 75 pixels. That's is 150 wide by 75 high. If you have trouble you can send a picture to me and I will do it. It should be something that will work in a wide format similar to the ones you have seen. It can be a gif or a jpeg. |
