Hi, I have recently purchased an old Puck P-24z 2 stroke twin cylinder diesel engine, built in Gdansk, Poland in the 1960's. does anyone have one of these or know where I could find copies of workshop manuals? Kind regards Dan |

Even if you got the manuals, can you speak / read Polish? Anyway, on a more serious note, maybe the approach is to post some pictures, and see if anyone recognizes the engine based on similar "western" engines. In a lot of cases, the "eastern" guys would copy what they thought was a good engine from the west. In any event the basics, eg crank, main bearings, the rods and pistons are straightforward to figure out. The more challenging parts are the fuel system parts, i.e. injector, fuel pump and timing. |
