Sorry to say, I am pretty sure I just saw the remains of one of these in a scrap yard locally. They wouldn't sell it or allow me to photograph it,, but I am pretty sure it was an Atlas Imperial. Three cylinder with studs similar to shown, round access holes for each cylinder, etc. Most removable parts had been stripped off and obviously long before. On its way to China by now. The port side (looking from prop end forward, sloped in at about 70 degrees IIRC. The starboards side was vertical. Even the flywheel was missing. Couldn't find out where it came from. |
