I'm starting a preliminary flat head Cadillac list of utilizations, and wondered if any boat builders had employed this smooth performer in a cruiser, runabout or yacht? Thanks. Don White, Louisville. |

Hello Don, My grandfather had a four cylinder Cadillac circa 1920's (I think). It was in a 40 foot displacement cruiser. It had a transmission and ran very well for many years. It was not the original engine so can't really answer your question as to whether boat builders installed them as original power........Joe |

Don - Outside your time parameters but chris Craft did build at least one 21'Cobra with a Caddy V8. Saw it two weeks ago as a matter of fact at the Skaneateles NY antique boat show. |
