I just found this old post while searching for something else. Amazing engine and amazing restoration. Miro, if I'm not mistaken there are over 350 brass screws holding the 8 brass plates in place. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that this was the engine that Roy went through boxes and boxes of screws (cutting, grinding and fitting) until each screw would tighten in just right and all of the slots in the screws lined up in the same direction. |
