All, New to legacy marine engines (hell, new to engines of any type) and new to these kinds of message boards. Apologize if I come across ignorant. I have a 1947 Chriscraft Runabout Special with a Chrysler Ace Marine M26 engine. It looks like the cylinder head is cracked and I need a new head. I believe the casting number is E-58536-M-2. Any idea on where I can find this part? Help! |

You can try searching via the Antique and Classic Boat ( ACBS) club. There are various chapters all over North America. Many of the chapters have good contacts to old marine engine repair folks who work on engines such as yours. That's a start - but please be patient and persistent - that usually helps |
