Good day..I have a 40 foot 1934 tugboat that worked at Alcatraz prison..I have had the boat for 20 years. The boat is in excellent condition and I have had it stored indoors for the last 4 years..The boat has a Canadian Easthope motor in it..I found the man that bought out the Easthope Brothers spare parts inventory when they went out of business.I did not want to get put out of operations for a lack of spares.I bought enough parts to rebuild my Easthope at least 3 times. Additionally, I bought another complete 3 cylinder Easthope, from a maritime museum here in Washington state..I did all this because I was planning on keeping this boat for the rest of my life..Well my time is short and for health reasons I need to sell the boat and the spare motor and a load of parts to a person that appreciates the old marine motor and can maintain it and the boat, I'm in such a position that I'm just about giving away all the afore mentioned equipment..I would hate to see this piece of history lost because the right person did not get it..if you are interested please contact me.. |
