I could use some input, I have a rebuilt (79 model) enginer I have put in my boat. Does anyone know what the proper thermostat temp is? In looking at some information it seems that 160 deg might be used for freshwater (it's on a lake in TN.) and the 140 for saltwater. Does that sound right or do I need to use a 140? Thanks JJ |

160 on fresh water is fine but 140 for salt is required. |
