I just picked up a rebuilt Chysler 383 marine motor that I am converting back to automotive use. This leaves me with a lot of marine parts, and no use for them. Is there a market for them?
I have the cast iron box type oil pan and swinging pickup, the cast iron timing cover with camshaft driven tach drive, the cast iron water cooled exhaust manifolds, carb wedge spacer, engine mounts, and the complete velvet drive setup which is supposed to be a recent rebuild. Its all in very good condition.
If I was to sell it all, what would be a reasonable price to ask? Would it be better to sell it piece by piece or all at once? |

Depends on how fast you want to move these parts.
I would consult Hurrikain Narine (www.hurrikain.com)
Dave Kain can give you a good idea of what they are worth. As a side note: I would be interested in the exhaust manifolds, carb wedge, and timing cover, if they are in good condition. |

I will check out that site.
Everything is in good shape. The motor was rebuilt to put into a chris craft and everything was reconditioned or replaced. Whomever did the engine did a very nice job.
