I don't know if any are still around but I have always wanted to hear one of those run! Can you imagine trying to tune 6 Schebler carbs to perform evenly? |

That is a fantastic picture! I am fortunate to own a 1903 Leighton high speed launch that was bought new by my Great Grand Father. The original Lieghton four cylinder was sadly scraped in 1925. A Palmer little husky replaced it. I am allwas looking for new Leighton info and pictures. If any one knows of any thing I would appreciate hearing about it.I am also in contact with two surviving grand children of Herbert Jackson Leighton who are also interested.thank you, Ed Mitchell |
