I'm working on a Chris Craft 327F (I think) with a cast iron base pan. Installation angle is about 16*. I took the engine out of the boat for repairs. The oil level was at the "full" mark on the dipstick, at installed angle, but when I pulled the drain plug I only got out 3 qts. of oil. I don't think this and the little bit in the filter and lines is enough to lube the motor properly. What do you all think. Thanks, Bob |

If memory serves and it may not a 327 with a full aluminum pan holds 6+ quarts of oil.If it feeds the trans as in Paragon style than it will hold up to 8+ quarts. Just my opinions Bluecometk |
