Richard Durgee, I much enjoyed the Mystic show and was very pleased to finally get to meet you, Dick Day, the Coates, J.B, Ernie, and others. I promised I would post photos of a George Fuller's Sons, Hallowell, Maine, marine engine. At this point I do not have much background on the Fuller operation other than the foundry was started in the second half of the 19th century. I hope to do some research this winter on that company and some others that built or sold gasoline engines in Maine.

Searcher Finally home from Mystic and just in time to batten down the hatches for impending hurricane/Tropical storm "Ernesto" just now approaching the south tip of Fla about 60 mi south and will pass through this evening and tomorrow. Also good to meet you for first time! THANKS I appreciate the excellent photos of the Geo Fuller Engine, and look foreward to any additional info on this rather obscure mfgr ! |
