I just got a new little toy, and I would like to find out more about it. It is a 2 1/2 hp "King Fisher" and it is very complete and in very good condition. It is a two-cycle engine, and has a copper water jacket around the cylinder. It also has a Kingston carb that looks similar to the five ball carb used on a model T ford car. It looks like it should run, the only thing I'm not too sure of is the valve on the crankcase. It runs off an ecentric on the crank. I would like to post some pictures as this is the cutest thing I have ever seen. Thanks for any help. |

Hi-- I have several copper jacket engines including a Kingfisher. The valve on the crankcase may be the waterpump. These engines were used in boats. I have a dispro boat that used such an engine. If I can help please let me know.--Ray |
