As a kid we had a clinker, about 18ft.By memory it was powered by a four stroke petrol engine. It had a gear box with fwd, neu, rev.It was of side valve cofiguration single cylinder, and about 5-6hp.A large flywheel was mounted on the front of the crank, and was started by a crank handle. The magneto was a lucas model. The engine was built in England, around the 30s i think. It was called a Feltham.NOt a very helpful description, but has anybody heard or know about Feltham marine engines.Any light on the subject would be appreciated.
