I have a British Anzani Pilot 30 engine that has been idle for some time. It starts now and again but only runs for a couple of seconds. It seems petrol has trouble getting through to spark plug. Any info greatly appreciated. Tom |

Goodday It may just be simply that that you haven't opened the air vent on the gas cap--or perhaps the filter in the fuel line is clogged with old gas (goes like varnish) good luck Larry Healey |

I have a British Anzani Pilot, and I am looking for spares to refurbish it. Any information would be useful. |

I have two of these engines, one runs. If starting with the prop in water, I find it does not like starting, or running for that matter if exhaust is too far under the water. Have you cleaned all the carby jets and checked the needle and seat as thats the only other way fuel flow could be restricted. |
