Recently acquired an old launch with a Fay & Bowen single cylinder S/N 1133. Two different opinions about the age of the motor. As well as the hp rating (1.7hp and 7hp). It was built in Geneva, NY with a Patent date of Oct. 21, 1902, and is rated at 475rpm. Anyone know when this motor was built? |

Can you tell me the price of this item on the market? And good luck starting the engine. |

I have a Fay & Bowen engine, no 3632, single cylinder vertical two stroke. Seriously damaged but restorable, unfortunately converted to high tension ignition. Any chance of anyone having a spare igniter or parts for one. I have downloaded to original patent but construction from scratch doesn't look easy. The original gearing on top of the internal sideshaft is intact. |
