I recently found a 5hp Atlantic Jump Spark Base and timer in the woods, and have begun restoring it. I am in need of a cylinder for it, and am wondering if anyone here has one. |

Unfortunately, it's likely that the cylinder has suffered from use in salt water and the cylinder / water jacket has been badly damaged by drying out.
There's a good article in OME's Technical articles about what happens when salt water infiltrated the cart iron and then dries out.
I'm guessing that the engine was in salt water based on your location |
