I just acquired a 2 cylinder 10 hp Easthope, reportedly in running condition. I will be removing it from the donor boat very soon for restoration but would like to hear it run once beforehand.
If anyone could guide me through the basic startup and operation it would be very helpful and much appreciated!

Hello fellow Easthope owner. I am presuming your engine is a 10-14 engine. Are you taking it out of a former double ended fish boat; and what will the fate of the donor boat? Where are you located; by any chance on the lower mainland of BC.I don't have much in the way of 10-14 parts. Mostly the big pieces and cracked cylinders. I have never operated one alone; but watched and assisted as others have started their Easthopes. Perhaps we could assist one another. |
