I might have a chance to acquire a 3 HP model T Ferro that I believe is an older one because there is a location for an oiler in the top of the 'intake manifold' above the carb. (Maybe pre- 1910?) The obvious issues are: no flywheel, bent timer housing, missing oiler above carb, water pump unbolted from the jug and completely unknown condition inside (assuming frozen at this point without an opportunity to 'look' inside) - might be a total mess with rust. It appears to have not been touched in decades. The price at this point is beyond a crazy pipe dream. I'm wondering if might be worth pursuing, anyone have an idea what it might cost to have a flywheel cast? |

Ned, Flywheels for those show up from time to time. Most if not all of the 3 HP Type T Special engines had an oiler on top of the intake. Your description sounds like it should be priced between free and scrap value. Do a search on here there is a ton of info Hope this helps Ernie |
