Hello! I'm Eric. I'm new to the site. I'm an outboard collector and I'm looking for some help. I am fortunate to have a Hartford Sturdytwin outboard in my collection. These are pretty uncommon motors in outboard circles. I'd very much like to reproduce the decals for this motor and have some examples to get me started. What I don't have a good example for is the Lubrication and Cold Starting Instructions. These were each displayed on separate decals. I'm specifically looking for the wording for these instructions. I have yet to find even a picture of decals that are legible. If I could find the text, I could recreate the decals easily enough. I realize it's a long shot but, I'm wondering if Gray and Prior used the same instructions on the two-stroke inboards. I think the they made more of these than they did outboards. I thought I'd ask if anyone had a piece of literature or a decal or anything that might have the wording. I'd be in you great debt if I could have a picture of the text to use. Thanks for reading! I've enjoyed meeting some of you at the Mystic show over the years. -Eric |

There might be a way forward here. Gray and Prior manufactured the flexible joints used in Disappearing Propeller boats ( DisPro's). But they ceased operations in 2016. There may be folks in the DisPro club that might have literature other than the stuff on the flex joint . You can contact them here. http://disproboats.ca/ Miro |
