Hi, My 10hp Chapman Seadog is in need of a major service. It is not running well and difficult to start. I put it down to the person looking after the boat - me! I'd like to take the boat out of the water and deliver to the repairer for a complete overhaul of the engine. I have many parts, pistons, conrods and other bits if needed. I have two magnetos, both recently checked. I aligned the engine and dog clutch myself, so would like that checked in the boat for a smooth and easy time with this lovely engine. Who is the best? Who could do the work prior to the Wooden Boat show this year? I would arrange boat transport to and from. (I dont have a trailer so would like advice on moving Sarah) Sarah is moored in Leichhardt Bay so someone on Iron Cove or close would be great. If needed to go north, no problem. Open to suggestions. |

Try Todd Vidgen - he's on this forum. I'm not sure where he's located, but somewhere on the east coast. Todd recently did some substantial and excellent work for a mate. |
