My guess is it uses the Tesla design with multiple flat disc, I know several people who read Tesla's theory and tried to make model turbines, not successfully. Tesla claimed a flat disc had a large surface area and would drive better than a finned or cupped turbine. The models I saw would spin very fast, but produce very little torque. |

Interesting. Also JB remarks about the flat disk turbine design which I had never heard of. The ad claims better fuel efficiency than traditional (recip) engines, and even modern turbines can't achieve that. I would really like to see an example of this engine! Here's a little clearer version of the ad I was able to make. |
