G'Day,i have a Pup that needs a new vapouriser or a carb. The jet screw has broken off down inside and looks like it will be a bugger to remove. Also, any experts out there, the piston has a small hole in the centre which is chamfered under the crown. Is this normal? Or do i need to find a new piston as well? |

Thinking about the hole in the piston, is it there for helping to pressurize the crankcase? |

Can any of the experts tell if I could use any carb of a similar engine on a pup? I have one or two carbs floating around off more modern stationary engines, and I can make an adapter to fit. |

The piston usually has a centre hole for machining. Sometimes these penetrate too far and I have fitted a 1/8" BSP screwed plug... |
