Got the flywheel, crankcase, and transmission housings back from the sandblaster today. applied rustoleum 2k epoxy primer, and a topcoat of rustoleum gray enamel. also, as an aside, I got three oil seals (both ends of crankcase, and the transmission output seal.) this is not a "fill and fix the pits and defects" paint job. the idea is to clean and inspect the engine inside and out, fresh paint, new seals and gaskets, put back together. at some future point I look forward to installing a new cylinder when george makes those available. hopefully these posts will help someone down the line and any advice is always appreciated.
