Anyone interested in (Australian) Simplex Twin 10/12hp Band Type engine which is in parts?
The items missing from a complete engine are the main cylinder block, pistons. The exhaust manifold has a hole but may be repairable. The rest is all present and usable but somewhat rusty. Includes: Main crankcase and front cover, flywheel, crankshaft and con rods, gearbox with all components, head, several carbies, Lucas SR2 magneto, water pump.
I also have several old 1" and 3/4" prop shafts, bronze prop shaft glands, coupling journals, 2 x LH 13" props.
It must all go in the next 17 days. Donations and offers accepted. Pick up from Brooklyn 2083, NSW, or YOU can arrange freight to your place.
