I'm fixing up a model 41 Lockwood 5HP - I believe it's about a 1923. Does anyone know what colors the block and flywheel were originally painted?
Thanks,
Bob

All L-A two cycles except for the 1 1/2hp were painted brewster green, the 1 1/2 was silver. Flywheels are the same as the engine. I think the 4 cycles were the same. Brewster green is a dark green, the Ford Model A engine paint sold by restorers is close. A local collector, Audie, had some paint mixed, he may see this post and chime in. I have one painted silver but I think it was repainted, never checked to be sure.
