Cady from Canastota, NY 3 hp
One of Dick D's engines. It has been at Calvert several times as a non runner.
We have an intake manifold casting but I don't dare use it as it is a sand cast reproduction and the brass is full of sand where the core came apart. Not sure how to get the inside clean so for now it has some common pipe fittings for an intake. The exhaust came with it when Dick got it back in the 70's

This could also have been an Atlantic from Amesbury,MA. At least they were sold as such but made by Cady I am quite sure as they are identical except for the tag.

Sold one just like it this past week end at Arcadia, Md. engine show. Had the original intake and exhaust manifolds, name plate, wooden timer handle and brass tube/fittings from the pump to lower jacket.

Just noticed the video link, thanks for posting it.

Could you use some sort of abrasive blasting (sand blast/ metal beads??) to clean out the intake?

Nice to have the brass casting on the engine but there is a certain honesty to hardware store pipe fittings heck those extra shoulders just might mix up the fuel and air better LOL.

Got all the junk out of the manifold and finished machining it.
