Since the engine runs in both directions the reverse gear in the pictures is not needed and is no longer on the engine.
Runs good in both directions, fresh water $18,000.00

Looking into Fisherman engine history for another post here I came across this 1921 article.
The 1920 ad shows the style of engine we have seen 1906-20.
this 1921 article relates to a Different engine
named "CRABBER".
the engine in older post here I believe is Dick Days, it is different than 1920 and earlier engines, flywheel has finger holds and crankcase is different design, cant tell if engine is larger than the older style from photos ?

This is a 1922 Marine Engine Index.
it lists the Crabber and Fisherman but also lists
A Fisherman Ford in two sizes ? has anyone ever heard of these engines ??
