I've picked up a Gray U that someone butchered the water pump on. If I can't find one, I will do a pattern and get one cast (as well as be able to help others with the same need). Does anyone have some good photos showing detail close up? Can anyone loan one to me to build my patterns? From the few photos I've been able to get, I haven't worked out how it can pump with just one check valve. I'm guessing that I am missing something simple with the two chamber design, but haven't hit on the answer yet. Hopefully someone on here can point me in the right direction. Thanks Steve Roskowski |

* The early model U was a rotary waterpump at the front of engine driven by the timer shaft, later U engines water pump was aft and bolted to the cylinder piston type ? early Late * |

Richard, Sorry for the ambiguity on the post. I need to find either a pump for the later one or someone willing to loan one so I can make a casting pattern. Thanks |
