Does anybody know where I could get a set of points for a Greavette Dispro engine. They are mounted on the timer lever and developed in 1939 by a Mr. Tasse to improve the spark control of the timer. Thank you for any help you can give. |

I think your engine is a St Lawrence engine. There is a replacement ignition system available a Go Slow Boating dot ca, I think. Failing that, you can come to the DisPro Owners Assoc Annual Meeting in Gavenhurst this coming Sunday April 27. I'm sure that some will be able to help you out. Or look at http://disproboats.ca/ miro |

chickatree, Put Tassey in the search function on this site. The names Tasse and Tassey seem too close not to be one in the same.. |

The Tassie timer was used on copper jacket Dispro engines. The Dispro special copper jacket engine was used on a limited basis by Greavette from1937 until 1945. It was a modified E1. |
