Don't go there folks! It says the page no longer exists and I find several instances of something on my computer trying to access this IP address after clicking on the above link: 74.125.28.191 |

I'm one of the folks behind "Progress is Fine." I'd posted the Easthope entry because I thought it was interesting and I was happy to see it discovered by your discussion group. When I visited your site, I was very concerned to learn of Robert's problems with our blog. We've had 162 visits to this page since it was posted, and no other reports of any problems. I clicked on the link from your forum, and was redirected immediately to the post. Please let us know if anyone else has encountered similar problems to Robert's. |

I tried to access the Easthope reference shortly after it was posted on Dec 30 but it locked up on me. I don't know whether Norton or my malware software locked it up as a preventative measure or not but it is the first time I have ever had something like this happen when accessing a reference through the OME site. I just tried again and it worked fine. I hope somebody pays attention to that Easthope soon. It looks like the water jackets are about to burst from the salt water damage. |

I use McAffee and as I recall now, it brought up the big red X and "Whoa, are you sure you want to go there!" warning. There must have been some other strange happenings to make me start up the program that monitors the ports on my desktop. It may have been a "false positive", but you can't be too careful these days. If in doubt, go through Yahoo or Google and look only at the cached version of a site instead of the active version. |
