Somehow that last picture -is she a steamer? -looks like a boiler dome- seems an appropriate place for a fine old piece of machinery to make its ultimate sacrifice and show the harsh realities of life. We'd give the old Norwegian beauty a good home would we not? What a lovely noise she'd make. But she is in beautiful surroundings. I'd be tempted to move over there but for the cold, I kind of like Auckland's climate. |

Originally used to power a small hoist for transferring fish and bait to and from lobster boats. Recycled as a boat anchor.

Works of art all of them in their poses. Better in a boat still working but there you are. |
