Took a ride in my truck ,when I got home and looked in the back "What a WONDER". |

The engine above is a wet exhaust, anyone have a catalog or info on these Wonders ??? Looked through ads with pics up to 1911 they still had dry exhaust ?? I have later ads but they don't have pics of engs ?? |

I had one just like it. However mine didn't have the original ignition. It had a distributor and coil. Nicely done but still didn't belong there. Bill Wolf has it now. He might have literature too. Why don't you give him a hollar. Bob Long has what I think is a 1 cylinder one. Hope this helps Ernie |

Thanks Ernie, kept looking and found this 1913 ad.Looks like when the redesign for the wet exhaust took place, they also added the hand access plates to crankcase. Interesting that they still used cyl oilers, the above eng has pipe plugs that don't match, oilers were removed! > Your new found Palmer is really nice,Within a day of getting it home crankcase cleaned, valves ground etc etc and start eng up-- tends to give some of us a sort of complex ! Great job ! |

Richard, Thanks, however actually it took 6 days. I got it on sunday and ran it on Friday. Total about 6 or 7 hours work. |
